Feeding Paper Back Through an Hp Photosmart

This is an old print that I did for an exchange called "alphabet soup." Finally documented it. I lifted these images from these novel sized disposable manga and japanese magazines. It's crazy how these comics are made to be thrown out like a newspaper or something. It's not something that we really experience in the states. I went on to collage more of these comics with some pornographic imagery for photo-silk.

I guess I'm posting this because I have Japan on the mind given the recent tsunami. This print is small. 8 x 11.  It feel roughly like something that could have been popped out of a laser jet printer, and that's actually what my initial sketch is.
It's two photo litho plates and chine colle, which is french for "chinese collage." Just a fancy, pooper word for collage with a matrix because god forbid someone collages directly onto a print. I think I still have some of the prototypes laying around if anyone wants one, though the plates are gone.
